Dale Brodie

Dale Brodie has worked in internet design and web architecture since 1999. He was the Digital Media Creative Director at CMP Content. He has worked on ad campaigns and games for such films as He’s Just Not That Into You, Meet the Robinsons, Bridge to Terabitha, Déjà Vu, Underdog and for the re-launch of Disney.com. Mr. Brodie has worked on creative marketing campaigns for over 70 films, home videos and television shows.

Previously as the Creative Director at Lionsgate he oversaw the design and execution of numerous online campaigns such as Saw, Crank, The Descent, Hard Candy and Hostel. Prior to, as Art Director for Lionsgate, Brodie managed the day-to-day design of all web properties including official film, home entertainment, television and international sites, as well as the corporate site (www.lionsgate.com).

In addition, Mr. Brodie served as project liaison between the studio and its creative vendors. Mr. Brodie has overseen the design and execution of such sites as Kevin Spacey’s Beyond the Sea, Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects and Dave LaChapelle’s Rize. Brodie pioneered and designed Lionsgate’s first banner ads for films such as Confidence, Diary of a Mad Black Woman and the campaign for the Academy Award winning film Crash.

He sees a new frontier in online advertising and feels that internet advertising has to break through the clutter and be engaging for users to interact with the content and ultimately help sell the film.

Previous to joining Lionsgate, Brodie led the innovation of KNBC television studio’s real-time election results. Additionally, as Production Designer at iXL, a leading global consulting firm, he researched and executed mobile and iTV initiatives worked with clients such as Mountain Dew, the Smithsonian and the IRS.

A respected member of the internet design community, Mr. Brodie has served as a Judge for the prestigious Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards. He also a certified Adobe Flash Designer, and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in film production.
