Looking for media and social-inspired interns. Must want to be on the cutting edge of media content, social communities, gaming and entertainment media.

Work with studios, publishers, internet giants and startups. May work virtually and love to curate content. Many internships lead to full-time employment with the firm or its clients: interns@newmedici.com

Looking for 2-3 enthusiastic university/grad interns to support its media strategy and social engagement group with vision at the intersection of media, entertainment and technology. 2-3 hours per day during school (full-time during summers), work from home or our office for 1-2 days per week. Flexible hours. Free lunches provided at New Medici’s offices.

Ideal way to get into full-time work with our movie studio, brand and startup companies.

  1. Media strategy – traditional and digital channels
  2. Strategic marketing and distribution
  3. Social and viral marketing
  4. Business Development

Sample clients include: WPP/Ogilvy, Vevo, 20th Century Fox, the CBC, Groupon, Sony Music, Austrade (Australian Government). Other categories: Movie studios, television networks, video on demand services, media-focused startups, creative agencies, social media and game companies.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for the intersection of media, lifestyle and technology (planning/ops/mktg/dist)
  • Great at project management and online research; detail ninja
  • Superior work product, computer skills (MS Office or Google Docs), communication and presentation skills (Powerpoint and/or Keynote)
  • Ability to write/edit concise emails, presentations or decks and a willingness to learn to compose industry-relevant blogs
  • Current college or grad, in process, with solid academic credentials, or recent grad
  • Laptop with wifi, mobile phone, (if LA local) a car to attend to office/client meetings
  • Strategic marketing/distribution, social media/content, media & entertainment experience and interest a plus

Location: Los Angeles preferred, but open to US interns
Times: 3-4 days per week (2-3 hours per day max) or 1-2 days in office, flexible; virtual teamwork
Reports to: CEO, SVP Social Marketing
Compensation: University credit as applicable
