- Architected Participant Media and TakePart.com business/marketing/branding beta launch plan. Trademarked “social action network” tagline and managed lead relationship with Ogilvy Interactive and multiple backend vendors. Created partnerships with leading social sites/networks (MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, hulu, Sling, Huffington Post)
- Designed and increased SEO practices at Participant/TakePart, increasing traffic, year-over-year, in excess of 1000%. Successfully acquired external sites to drive user growth.
- Oversaw permission-based email marketing plan, ranging across multiple campaigns, windows and issue/film genres for studio databases.
- Created strategic marketing partnerships, content and distribution partnerships for Qualcomm, Lionsgate, LivePlanet, Eyespot, Lucasfilm, Participant with Fox/NBC’s Hulu, Google/ YouTube, Sling Media, Apple iTunes.
- Redesigned partnership with BMW Films to increase marketing outreach in print, online and in theater pre-show advertising for Lionsgate theatrical films. Worked to create original pre-show programming for theaters with ad partners Nintendo and Microsoft.
- Managed partnership programs with international brands – Starbucks, Apple, BMW, Panasonic, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Nokia – to increase consumer awareness.
- Created and managed over 150 individual marketing campaigns – creative, marketing/advertising – online for theatrical film, home entertainment, television and international. Worked closely with multiple ad agencies, viral street and PR teams. Won Clio award in 2005.
- Co-developed business plan for FEARnet, a joint horror broadband channel initiative with Lionsgate and Comcast, including distribution and programming outreach to mobile, and related retail, portal and cable partners.
- Created and distributed packaged multi-movie DVD-ROM with Microsoft – prior to advent of HD Blu-Ray discs – with 50+ shareable trailers.
- Licensed content from 100 films to Nokia for international, in-store marketing promotion.
- Pioneered age-gate verification protocol for MPAA-restricted content, creating new channels of film content with related advertising.
- Developed and managed Virtual Producer subscription plan, allowing consumers to engage with a film production prior to theatrical release.
- Provided first studio short-form content to Apple iPods, Sony PSPs and blog channels, introducing talent/filmmaker blogs to industry marketplace.
- Oversaw all branding and digital strategy of Mediapact, a $500M media management and investment company which took over management of Lionsgate.
